Where to use it

This is an exterior wood paint in a typical ‘Swedish Red’ colour. For exterior use on rough sawn wood or roughened untreated wood. The eco friendly exterior wood paint is classified as Zero VOC and is fully breathable. It is biocide free and made from natural materials and minerals. It is commonly used on timber sheds, fences, outhouses, gates, and any untreated exterior rough timber.

This exterior wood paint is available in 2.5 litres and 10 litres and covers 4sq/m per litre.

What it does

The Auro Swedish Red Exterior Paint 148 is a colour wash for exterior rough timber. It gives your exterior a lovely Scandinavian look with it’s oxide red pigment. It allows the timber to breathe underneath so the colour wash won’t flake off.

How it works

The 1^st coat should be thinned out with 20% water and then a further coat applied unthinned. This product is not suited for woods containing active substances such as oak, redwood, cedar etc… The colour wash bonds to the rough wood and won’t flake. In time it will begin to fade, renovation is very simple by adding another coat by brush.
