Where to use it
Diasen Aquafloor Eco coating is mainly used over Cork Render, Diathonite Screed, Decork and Decorkrete. It can also be used over acrylic or epoxy treated surfaces, tiles, cement screeds or concrete surfaces. It is suitable for internal and external use.
What it does
Aquafloor Eco will protect and increase the abrasion of a surface to make it walkable and easy to clean. It is water and detergent resistant and can be used in bathrooms and shower rooms to protect Decork and Cork Render finishes from the effects of cleaning chemicals.
Since it is a transparent liquid, it does not change the colour of the surface it is being applied to. Three very thin coats are required to create a transparent film without affecting the texture of the surface underneath.
How it works
Aquafloor Eco is a two-part transparent liquid material which is easily applied with a short pile roller in three coats. It dries quickly, within 2 hours at 20°C and 40% relative humidity and can be walked on after 24 hours.
Why we love it
It protects beautifully finished surfaces making them walkable and easily cleanable without changing their texture or colour.

Installation Guide
Find an installerHow to Install
The product comes in two parts: part A (main component) in 5kg bucket and part B (catalyst) in 1kg bucket.
Mix the two parts with a drill mixer. Lumps form at the start but will dissolve while mixing.
Keep mixing until the product becomes smooth and ready to use. The product is workable for 2 hours, after that it may quickly lose its workability. The mixture (5kg + 1kg) covers approx. 30m2 (all three coats).
The product should be applied in three thin coats with a short pile roller. The first coat should be diluted with 30% clean water. Let that dry for about 2 hours. The next two coats should be undiluted with each one being applied at 90° to the previous coat. Each coat must to completely dry prior to the application of the next one. Applying thick coats of Aquafloor will greatly extend the drying time.
At 20 degrees Celsius and 40% relative humidity a thin coat of Aquafloor dries in 2 hours and can be walked on after 24 hours. Drying time may be significantly longer in cold temperatures or high humidity conditions.
Hints & Tips
Never add any other additives apart from clean water to the mixture. Surface and ambient temperature should be 10-30°C.
Do not apply to surfaces with a moisture content higher than 4%.
Do no wet the surface prior to Aquafloor Eco application.
Temporarily cover any surfaces the material should not be applied over to avoid contact with the Aquafloor being applied.
