Thinner and cleaning agent, a mixture of Orange oil and other essential oils. Suitable for diluting all Auro products from the PurSolid and Classic product ranges and for cleaning paint brushes and tools after use. Can also be used as a stain remover.
Where to use it:
The Auro Orange Oil Thinner 191 is essentially a natural and eco friendly alternative to white spirit. It has a citrus fragrance and is an excellent thinner and can also be used as a cleaning agent. It is an excellent tool cleaner where only a small amount goes a long way. It is available in 250ml and 1 litre tins.
What it does:
It dilutes Auro Oily products, both Pursolid and Classic products. Check the data sheet of the product being used for the recommended amount of thinner that can be used.
Thinning out a product can allow it to absorb into the surface easier especially recommended on some timber which are not very absorbent.
It can also make it spread more and make it easier to apply.
How it works:
The natural ingredients (Balsamic turpentine and orange oil) dilute the oily products by thinning them out.
Why we Love it:
It is an environmentally friendly version of white spirits it contains only naturally occurring ingredients and is vegan friendly.
Hints and Tips:
After cleaning the tools with the Orange Oil thinner rub some plant soap on the bristles and store away or they can be immersed in Auro Plant Soap 411. When using them again rinse out the plant soap with water and they are ready to use again.

Installation Guide
It is important to check with the product data sheet of the product being used to see how much thinner can be added. When adding the thinner it should be added slowly while continually stirring.
When using it as a tool cleaner a small amount of the Orange Oil thinner is all that is needed to wash out tools. In cases where there is stubborn soiling the brushes can be soaked in the thinner before carefully squeezing out the orange oil. For longer storage the brushes can be immersed in Auro Plant Soap 411.
This is a powerful natural solvent so a test area should be done when using it as a spot remover or cleaner. A couple of drops added to a cloth is all that is needed to remove soiling. In cases of severe soiling the Orange oil can be applied directly to the soiled surface.
