Overview
This is a safe, eco-friendly alternative to conventional radiator paints.
It is high performing with excellent environmental credentials, this organic Auro radiator paint lets you cover radiators and pipework with durable, resilient protection without filling the air with harsh chemicals.
It is non-toxic, water thinnable and solvent free natural white paint. It gives a satin finish which is thermally stable up to around 70 degrees centigrade.
Where to use it
It can be used on steel and cast-iron radiators; it will withstand temperatures of up to 70 degrees.
It is recommended to prime bare radiators with Auro Rust Protection Primer 234 before using the radiator paint.
What it does
It provides a hard wearing, washable coating onto your radiator surfaces. It is available in white (Slightly off white) and can be tinted up to 10% with Auro Satin paint 260 if desired

How it works

Installation Guide
The substrate must be clean, load bearing, free of separating or bleeding-through substances.
If painted previously sand slightly to create a key for painting, any bare areas should be primed using the Auro rust protection primer 234.
If not previously painted prime damaged and bare de-rusted spots with Auro rust protection primer 234.
It can be applied by brush, roller or by spraying.
Apply at least 2 coats of the radiator paint leaving 24 hours in between coats.
Ensure the radiator is off for at least three days after painting to make sure it has fully dried.
