Overview
An environmentally friendly wallpaper paste made from natural materials – cellulose. Available in a powder form it has excellent adhesion properties when mixed with water. It is suitable for use on all normal wallpapering surfaces. This product is very easy to use and it is vegan friendly.
Where to use it
This can be used on all normal plaster surfaces, plasterboard, gypsum plaster, lime plaster, clay providing they are solid, dry and clean. It can also be used as an adhesive for other handicrafts.
What it does
The wallpaper paste allows the walls to breathe using a natural, solvent free adhesive.

It comes in powder form, so it is very easy to use and mix with water. It can be used indoors or outside and is a vegan friendly product.
How it works
The powder is added to cold water evenly and is stirred until a smooth paste is made, it should be allowed to swell for 1 hour and then stirred again. Depending on the weight of the wallpaper will depend on how much water is needed. The combination of the water and the cellulose makes a strong adhesive which is breathable and solvent free.

Installation Guide
Depending on the wight of the wallpaper will decide what ratios need to be mixed.
For example:
For pre-pasting a ratio of 1:80 (200g of paste with 16 litres of water) Coverage approx. 120 – 160 m2
For Light Wallpaper a ratio of 1:50 (200g of paste with 10 litres of water)
Coverage approx. 80 – 100 m2
For Medium Wallpaper a ratio of 1:45 (200g of paste with 9 litres of water)
Coverage approx. 60 – 80 m2
For Heavy wallpaper a ratio of 1:40 (200g of paste with 8 litres of water)
Coverage approx. 40 – 60 m2
The powder is added to cold water evenly and is stirred until a smooth paste is made, it should be allowed to swell for 1 hour and then stirred again. The walls should be pretreated with a layer of paste and also paste should be added to the back of the wallpaper using a wide paint brush. Observe soaking time specified by the wallpaper you are using.
The paste should be used within 3 days of mixing, it is suitable for wallpapering machines.
Any unused paste once dried can be disposed of in the compost bin.
