Fire Retardant Membranes provide protection from wind driven rain whilst remaining breathable. Because they meet the Euro Fire Classification of B-S2-d0, they are approved under the new Part B (Fire) of the Building Regulations, and therefore can be safely used on tall buildings.

Our range of fire retardant membranes provide the benefits of a windtight membrane, including protection from wind driven rain, resistance to UV, and breathability - allowing moisture vapour from inside the building to escape whilst providing a barrier from moisture externally. 

They are designed to either meet or exceed Euro Fire Classification B-S2-d0 to ensure the safety of occupants in tall buildings. This means our fire retardant membranes have good resistance to surface spread of flame, low smoke generation and do not produce flaming droplets when in contact with fire.
