Eco-Build, County Meath

A low-energy, sustainably focused new build timber frame in the flat plains of County Meath. An emphasis was put on using natural materials such as Thermo Hemp Combi Jute insulation & Daemstatt blown-in cellulose. Exceptional detail was given to airtightness with the addition of Passivhaus certified Finsa Superpan Vapourstop racking boards, which were then sealed using Pro Clima airtight tapes. At challenging junctions, thermal bridges were addressed by fitting Bosig Phonotherm upcycled structural insulation boards.
