Overview
A slightly honey-coloured wax protection with high abrasion resistance made of beeswax and plant wax for wooden or linoleum floor surfaces which can also be used on furniture. It is dirt-repellent, and solvent-free. It should be applied with a brush or roller and polished between 20 and 60 minutes after application to obtain a satin mat finish. Wood types rich in active substances should be primed with Auro Special primer 117, other wood types with Auro Hard primer 127.
Where to use it
The Auro Wood Wax 187 is suitable for wooden floors, wood-based products, linoleum and furniture. It is a fully breathable oil made from natural ingredients including beeswax and plant wax. The wax is available in 750ml and 2.5 Litres. Coverage is 25sq/m per litre.
What it does
After using a primer, it provides hard wearing protection to your wooden surfaces. It is Dirt-repellent, solvent-free, slightly honey-coloured wax protection with high abrasion resistance.
Why we love it
After polishing the liquid wax produces a lovely Satin Finish, that is easy to care for and maintain using Auro products. The Auro Aqua products do not intensify the wood colour as much as the Classic products.
How it works
The Auro Wood Wax 187 is a liquid wax which can be diluted to a maximum of 50% with water. It can be applied to wood after treatment with the Auro Hard Primer 127 or Auro Special Primer 117 (for timber containing active substances). The Wood Wax 187 gives a protective layer over the surface which is easy to maintain and clean.
Hints and Tips
The surface can be polished between 20 minutes of application and no longer than 60 minutes after application. It should be polished using a dry, clean cloth, pad or similar.

Please note product has a milky appearance, but it dries after application to give a clear transparent layer.
For bare, untreated timber prime with Auro Hard Primer 127 or Auro Special Primer 117. Allow 24 hours to dry before overcoating with the Auro Wood Wax 187.
For previously oiled or waxed surfaces which are in good condition but just need a bit of repair it is recommended to give a cleaning and sanding before treating with the Auro Wood Wax 187.
For previously oiled or waxed surfaces which are in poor condition or for surfaces where the previous treatment is unknown it is necessary to sand right back to the original surface and start with a primer again.
The Wax can be applied using a brush, roller, soft cloth or pad or by buffer machine. It must be polished while wet and soft, after 20 minutes and before 60 minutes of drying. After this period the surface can no longer be polished.
If desired, repeat the treatment after 24 hours.
Clean tools with Auro Plant Soap 411 or if necessary Auro Orange Oil 191
